Fentanyl exposure is not a thing unless you smoke it, inject it, snort it, or swallow it. You simply can't overdose by touching it or by staring at it.

I knew a lady who fell and got hurt. The paramedics offered her pain meds before moving her. She said no to everything but asked for morphine. They suggested fentanyl and she said “I don’t want any street drugs!” We all lol’d.

I think the piano think is actually more likely, though. Like it’s technically *possible* someone could somehow push a piano out of a tall building, and it’s technically possible said piano could fall on you, and there’s a significant chance you’d die if it did.

"Exposure" is an unlikely euphemism. "Fentanyl was recovered at the scene where an officer was exposed" means the officer in question was 100% certain that a tiny amount wouldn't be missed.
