A Canadian friend, going down to Arizona to visit his sister, had 1/2 dozen eggs seized by US Customs on the way down (this was in January). He has said he's not going back down there.

I don’t get why they’re not letting people bring in eggs, though. Agricultural inspections at land boarders are just silly. And anyway, Mexican and Canadian eggs are probably safer than American ones right now. Plus they, you know, exist, which is a plus.
