ER doctor here! Please seek medical attention (go to the ER) if you are hit in the head with a ballistic.
“Less lethal” weapons kill people all the time, in addition to causing permanent disabilities.
If you don’t feel safe disclosing that you were protesting just say you were hit in the head, etc

Head injuries like Sean's are very serious. Go immediately to the ER even if the victim is alert and talking. Brain swelling has a short delay and bleeds can start later. You can be fine one minute and dead within an hour.

Let us be the warmth of this world for him, before cruelty takes him as it has taken so many before.

Brain bleeds really fucking suck.
They’re lethal, period.
“Not immediately lethal” is more accurate. The goal is still death, but with plausible deniability.
Apologies for the touch of self promotion, but was literally discussing this not too long ago.
the tl;dr is that y'know those petit pot puddings you see at grocery stores? That's roughly the size of a rubber bullet. That can do SO MUCH damage.

And remember when the journalist was hit by a rubber bullet in the eye and lost her eye? I want to say it was during George Floyd protests but I'm not sure iirc. They are NOT harmless as some people might want us to believe.
