The irony of its importance and its presence in several other civil rights protests is not lost on me. I know they never taught you this in High School. They didn't teach me, either.

But it's important. And it's right there. You need to read it. You need to realize, the 60's weren't that long ago.

America's ignorance is calculated. It has been for a very very very long time. But you live in the information era. At this point, ignorance is a choice. Do not choose to be ignorant. Do not choose to not understand. Read it. Understand its significance. It's our History, hetero or otherwise.

Don't follow me for my activism, I will inevitably disappoint you. I am an entertainer and even if small a damn good one.

But this can't be ignored and it dawns on me, that our young LGBTQI+ don't understand their MULTITUDE impact on culture, or their history, neither do young allies.

They don't WANT you to understand. Not talking about it is how they brainwash people in to just ignoring who they are til they're old and miserable, by never letting you consider that love is love.

So FIX that. And then, help another person fix that. And another.
