Hell, as I tell my students: I didn't get into teaching English because I love spelling! No one does that! (Now, I'll nerd the fuck out about etymology, but I'm strictly a descriptivist about grammar & give waaaay more fucks about kids being good rhetoricians, critical thinkers, & kind people).

It’s an obsolete spelling of the word, and the original in Old English is “theof.” This makes sense, as we are all peasants now

Damn, they’re hitting him with federal charges — malicious damage to a vehicle by means of fire. The complaint also accuses Ian Moses of interfering with “interstate and foreign commerce” for allegedly destroying a single Cybertruck.

Nobody was injured, the vehicle was an unsold and sitting in the Tesla lot.
