To get payouts from subscribestar, you have to sign a W-8BEN yes. But that document is, from my understanding, used to declare that you are not a US resident. France has a tax agreement with the US to avoid paying double taxes.

You are working from Europe and should only be paying taxes in your own country.

I'm ranting so much bc if she didn't ignore what I said and told me the taxes are too complicated for them I would think harder and be more prepared before I opened business now I'm basically panicking and have everything on hold bc I might actually go to jail if accountant files the taxes wrong

Places like Patreon and Substar pay/take care of the taxes of each subscribers based on the country they're in. The only taxes you should have to pay is on the final amount of money you receive. Is there any way to look up/find out what "platforms" fall under in Poland?
