I think this is a FANTASTIC pursuit for you. I've incorporated the stuff you've shared into my own workouts, because at bloody 46 I can't work out like I did in high school for football and wrestling.
I hemmed & hawed about going back to school. It’ll take 5 years for a 2 yr degree at the Comm. College, I’ll be 50, I said. A friend asked how old would I be if I didn’t go. So I went and got my AA at 50. Best thing I ever did for myself. My advice? Just do it!
I love personal training, but it's also very clear that this is where most of my clients fall into so it has become my focus AND it would provide more job security and I could still do both??
I think you’re making the argument and also when I was talking to you about getting into personal training I had this idea that I’d want to work with seniors and people with mobility issues so I think it would be lovely
It's honestly so rewarding, I have a couple 60+ clients and when they tell me things like "I'm not scared of walking down my back stairs to my garden anymore!" or "I don't have to get knee surgery yet because of the work we've been doing!" it makes me want to happy cry.
Yeah, that’s lovely. Not physical but I get the same sense from that at the library especially around technology. If it’s in your heart to do it, you should. You’d be great.
