I was 14, I went with my dad and schoolmate, Maziar and his dad. The (English) Beat were my favorite that day, sadly, it was the original lineup’s last show, same with The Clash with Mick Jones. The Clash were pissed because of a satellite hookup with a Russian band, that honor went to Men At Work

At the Nice show the crowd was so fired up they stormed the stage and the band retreated to the drum riser. Eventually ripped the instruments out of their hands. Pandemonium. Show over.
