CO2 leaks can spread far & be deadly. The leak caused hundreds of evacuations, 45 hospitalizations, and led PHMSA to re-do its safety regulations.

We now learned that PHMSA is seeking a $2 million fine for a pattern of aggressive interference with safety inspections, including physically blocking inspectors, verbal assaults, and lying.
