I happens to me a lot during the storyboard stage in comics making. Thanksfully, way less during execution work like sketching and inking.

Oh gosh, every single time I start a painting! I constantly rework ideas as I draw, no matter how many thumbnails I do, so as someone else mentioned, I have to let all of my drawings simmer for a while before I take them to paint. And THEN, the “so many potential options” paralysis sets in… 🤣
