When I was a kid learning about the atrocities of slavery and the brilliance and heroics of Harriet Tubman… making multiple trips to free enslaved people and that there were times when folks didn’t want to get free… I didn’t understand it. Now, as I watch folks tap dancing for Trump—I truly get it.
