GOP has spent 4 decades with ad hominem attacks against Democrats. Everything vaguely progressive is "socialist." Everything accepted as normal is "Marxist." All of it is "communist."

These three words have been hammered home. Socialist. Marxist. Communist. All three tied to progressive values.
