Just read Joseph and Aseneth, a Jewish novel ca. 1st century CE, and let me tell you. What a drama! Wouldn't be out of place on AO3 and would receive criticism for being too self-insert (the perfect girl marrying famous Joseph from the Genesis stories). Very fun. #theology #apocrypha
