We have the talent and resources to be a nuclear super power and cut off the US at the knees. It is something Canada should consider. It will open new none-military industries as we could have a real space program as well.
10 years ago I mused about Canada needing to begin deciding if it should become a nuclear state. I didn’t think the need for ☢️ deterrence would come so soon. I figured it would be American thirst for water that would turn their attention north. I was sadly right *and* wrong.

Has become very obvious that we have been vastly complacent in our very short history. It's like the Oregon action and 1812 were just trial runs for today.
Canada has the materials and expertise to build WW2 quality weapons inside a month if necessary. Given time to refine the materials I'm sure we could have modern weapons inside a year. Just sayin.
