May be extremely pricey but it's basically the price of a Nakamichi Dragon cassette deck plus inflation plus a niche product surcharge (they'll be lucky to sell triple figures of these). Now if only they would do an equivalent cassette deck and make it a bit more affordable...

They can only make 20 a month apparently. And only possible because the original parts suppliers still exist presumably because of the repair market.

True, for a cassette deck they would have to source tiny precision parts AND the heads needed and that would be very expensive for them.

We make our live My Reel Club® recordings with a Nagra IVS and edit them to a Studer A80. The edited tape is used for making 45 rpm, 180 gram LPs without any digital trickery or post-production. I very much hope our recordings will appear in the tape library, Revox will offer for their customers.
