I'unno I think he got exactly what he wanted in the end.

He's not with Moon but like... He doesn't need to be anymore? Like she's no longer the be-all end-all of affection for him. He's living his best life and has found a new family who like him and want to see him, and I think that's cool

His family is FUCKED UP and it says a lot about Tundra & Narwhal that for all his mess he is SOMEHOW the most stable of all his siblings, ENTIRELY because he found friends who wouldn't throw him to the wolves the instant he fucked up
