1 Peter 4:12-13
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

😞 I feel ashamed for not being okay. It’s part of the role we are expected to play. I’ve never seen other women get treated like they need to just take it all on the chin, we are literally expected to bear the brunt of everything. In a world where we are the least protected and cared for.
