If I can give one set advice to young artists, it’s that you don’t have to worry about art style!
Keep doing what you do! Your interests, skills, lack of skills, things you don’t like and avoid drawing, snd your lineweight will create your art style over time.
Your art style will find you!

What if you find that not having your own unique style, that you adore, leads you to a kind of analysis paralysis so you end up stuck not producinganything at all?
It keeps switching as I keep drawing. Hoping it turns out in a few years 👍
Just be creative, follow your dreams and your art style will truly find you💛✨

Doesn’t say anything I don’t know
What style is and style means is different for everyone. And a personal style can be having different styles and way of working
Also what works in the industry and what not is also personal
I have a very consistent style and get my work because of it

Which is more about experience
And yes I guess this can hit people who do art for a long time too, but I especially she less experienced artists stressing over having a style and needing to find one
I agree with there being an almost fixation on "style" which like you say should be the result of finding what you enjoy doing and not a hole to pigeon yourself into.
Don't let anybody talk you out of how you see the world
It’s an important step
Let them do that
They’ll figure it out on their own eventual
Copying is part of the process
Give the process time
Let everyone work on their own pace
Experience and skill will come in and form a personal style
Experience.
Practice.
And, above all, failures will make your successful mark.
And crowd scenes 🤯😳 suuuuck!
I started getting WAY looser in my rough sketches after that haha
I feel you! I've been doing Twisted Tea commercials for some like 5 years now and every single one kills me with their giant partying crowds. I keep pitching for an introvert version, but so so far no luck.
I regularly aim to draw, but that feeling of doubt and embarrassment even before doing anything just holds me back and I'm too exhausted from the day already to fight it.
Wonder if just having a sketch pad and pencil where you watch tv or chill would help. Just pick it up to doodle, no pressure. Kinda like baby steps. Overcome fear first.
I hope things get better for you. 💜
It's weird tho even tho I know no one's watching, I feel embarrassed even trying. The mind is a frustrating thing.

My point is these days there's so many people rockig the same style because it's popular over being individual.
But tbh I feel many who do this are still younger artists who might grow big on social media but actually don’t have any weight yet
They’ll figure it out
But social media is constantly changing
What works now might not one day
They might get bored
They might want to change one day
It might take longer with some
But let them do their thing
I’m pretty sure there is something about your art that is very you
Also having different approaches or styles can be part of the own style
It takes time
