I'd just looked at John's recent posts and it all felt a bit like fiddling while Rome burns. Without independence we're a colony. Time is running out with BBC, STV and the rest of the MSM winding things up to bring about the destuction of the SNP. No, I'm not pleased.

Bring passion and oratory to the debate. Challenge every lie and distortion the BBC, STV and MSM make. Broadcast the good that the SNP have done. Ensure everyone knows why things are better in Scotland than rUK. And above all concentrate on the need for Independence to achieve our full potential.

Until indy voters put millions behind the SNP we simply can`t afford to, leaving us 72k to effectively fund the entire movement in terms of exposure, where is everyone else ?

No, its the voters, if 10% of the 1.4 M yes voters gave £2.00 a week indy would get £14.5 million a year to run billboards, tv channel advertising, staff campaigns etc, etc, year after year countering the propaganda, the hard truth is the yes movement is ignoring its most basic need - fundraising.

IMO there will always be child poverty as long as there are parents who cannot handle money, have no real respect for their kids, or the boyfriend waits outside the post office to take the money. So what is the solution? Put more cash in their hands?

Voter Apathy and cost! If SNP started their campaign now, how board will the undecided be by the 2026 election. There was a reason the VOW appeared at the last moment. Maximum impact less time to fight it. How much would the campaign cost if it started now? Who would pat for it?
