I want this to happen too in a free Scotland. I was born into poverty have worked pretty much all my life and will die in poverty too! This cycle must end and can only end with independence

Written into the Constitution of an independent Scotland, of course? We can be such a different country when freed of the harms of Westminster. Much more exciting prospect than the avenues of the current UK government and elsewhere. The health of the nation will improve. #ScottishIndependence

Laudable ambition which I fully support.
But realistically the Scottish government will not be able to fulfil this ambition without independence.
Scotland's hands are tied by the Westminster government (regardless of colour).
Time for the 'cap in hand' approach to end.
