No amount of explaining will convince me that this debacle was not 100% orchestrated by Trump and Putin to guarantee the desired Russian outcome. Ukraine in tatters, steal their natural wealth, and then on to other eastern countries. Shameful.
I actually think Trump needed a scapegoat for his promise to make peace in one day! He can not, because he is too ignorant! So he tried to blackmail Zelensky in signing over the wealth of Ukraine to Trump for free! And in case Zelensky would not do it, he would blame Zelensky to prevent peace!
We've all been watching movies for decades in which Russia is the enemy. I get that Trump is a fool who Putin has cultivated. But why would the Republican party want the US to join Russia?
I recently talked with another, younger veteran who is in his 40s who served in Iraq/Afghanistan, about what Trumusk is doing to The Ukraine. We both agreed that we would probably go to the Ukraine to fight along side their soldiers if we were much younger.
