I became more functional when I accepted this for myself. Sometimes it's just an easy dishes or picking up laundry day. Maybe the small step can give me momentum to do a whole room cleaning, but it's fine if not.

The “all or nothing” mindset is almost always going to lead to “nothing” because “all” is way too much. Try shifting to a “whatever you can do” mindset.
