I would see him every year at a local convention. He was always happy to chat with fans. One year, he was pissed that he had to keep explaining that his space ghost signed photos were $20. So, I told him to keep my signed photo until the end of the night and do whatever he wanted to it.

I picked it up later that night and he had used it as a notepad and wrote all the dumb shit he had to tell people while he was trapped in his booth. I reread it in his voice from time to time. I treasure that photo to this day.
