No, it has to be in the direction of AND lands in the vicinity of - it only landed in his vicinity because it bounced off the lineman’s arm, and it wasn’t in the direction of the TE they said either. Not the only reason they’re losing (CLEARLY) but still the wrong call
The other reasons being the uncalled face mask on the Darnold sack, uncalled pass interference on the Hockenson 3rd down play, uncalled roughing the passer. Pretty obvious who the league wanted to win
JJ got away with a couple push offs. Multiple delay of games not called. Darnold threw a pass that wasn’t within 15 yards of any receiver and no call. The Hock “PI” was so bang bang.
Refs let them play. Vikings had every chance in the world to play aggressively and to score. They didn’t.
Only one of the delay of games was a miss. JJ did not get away with multiple push offs, you’re thinking of all the defensive holdings not called against the Lions. The Hockenson pass interference was not bang bang. And you are not a serious person.
No, it needed to be in Gibbs direction. The ball was thrown past Gibbs, who wasn’t even close to getting his hands on it. The refs didn’t even call that he was the intended receiver!
In this spirit of this not turning into Twitter, I (Vikings "fan") officially think it wasn't illegal touching - illegal touching has to be intentional, and I don't think the lineman intentionally touched it.
