More informal talks to come today after main plenaries
Countries were discussing the financial mechanism until the DRC (after quoting Winston Churchill) requested to switch up the agenda and instead talk about resource mobilisation
After SO much back and forth, the presidency proposed a show of hands to vote
Brazil gave a "humble recommendation" to adjourn for 5 mins for the presidency and the DRC to bash things out without necessarily needing to change the agenda
DRC dropped its appeal on changing the agenda and the financial mechanism negotiations will continue as planned
This evening's plenary to discuss resource mobilisation will start at 5.30pm, so a new text is due to be ready by then
