its also important to realize that this problem of dumbing down kids and pushing consumerism and brainrot isn't endemic to television and traditional forms of media anymore. if anything, i've seen more kids shows and movies that are artistic and treat their audience like they're smart, and teaches

attention span and critical thinking skill is fucked over. and i don't think the parents are to blame here. really, the problem is more of a wider issue we have in a digital, consumerist society that is manifesting itself now.
