Bike lanes need to be moved onto side street where possible. As a biker I hate riding on busy streets and inhaling all those car fumes and street dust. Let's make the bike lanes better by getting them on the side streets.

Still think side streets are better. The city also needs to create paths through side streets and that may include crating pass-throughs through properties and new bridges over the rivers. In Europe most bike lanes don’t use major roads. They have separated paths.
