Then when they beat inashiro to go to koshien, he spends the entire night thinking about the hug^TM and he can practically feel how warm it was. He’s like weirdly obsessed with it and he wants to hug Sawamura again. (But he’d never admit that)

And then one day they’re in his room by themselves and Sawamura is making himself at home and tries to persuade Miyuki to catch for him. But Miyuki has a thought to take advantage of the situation and is like, fine I’ll do it for a hug. And Sawamura is like flabbergasted.

And although he’s touchy and will get into anyone’s space, when it comes to intimacy and physical touch, he just can’t imagine himself initiating. He’s like super flustered. So he’s like fine, and just opens his arms with a blush and tells Miyuki “well come on!”

And MIYUKI starts blushing too and is like “oh shit okay”. And so even though he was joking and expected nothing, he REALLY wants to hug him again so he does. It’s awkward at first but he’s just so happy that he kind of melts into it and feels the stress kind of leave him.

But Sawamura doesn’t do things half heartedly! So he pulls Miyuki tighter and their body is flush against each other and even though they’re so acutely aware of how embarrassed they should be neither really cares because it feels super nice to have someone to hold onto.

And after this, next thing you know Miyuki is weirdly in Sawamura’s space /all the time/. And at first it’s hugs but then it becomes arms over the shoulders and then it becomes Sawamura leaning into him when they’re sitting next to each other and then suddenly they /cuddle/.
