I'd love to see more Jewish horror. I mean besides Nazi zombies and the like. Jewish story telling is chock full of ghosts, demons, witches, and revenants.

Haha I can imagine. It must be something like 70% of what we see. I suppose there has to be some familiarity with the theology/lore/mythology… Ireland has so much too, right? But then we get Leprechaun. 😭

Right, you know faerie tales, and I'm not talking Disney, some are pretty gruesome. Banshees of course but lots of others. England has some good ones, especially Wales and Scotland. But yeah, the folklore is there if they're not too lazy.

Have you seen November (2017). I think it’s great. Estonian folk horror (also I think sort of includes Catholicism though it’s more about the ruling class).
