It's a really great piece! And more importantly, I think it brings hope rather than additional despair. There's plenty enough of the latter going around right now, and I'm really having to pick and choose what media I engage with.

Yesterday, one of my BFF made a post on another venue that from this point onward, she wouldn't be discussing politics. It's not that she doesn't care, it's not that she's not active, it's that due to her medical condition, it can LITERALLY kill her.

predicament, there are others that suffer to a lesser extent. But still suffer.

That's why I do what I do. For as well as I can, for as loud as I can, for as long as I can, I will speak up.

Not for someone. Not over someone. But in support of someone.

I refuse to go gentle into that good night.

My family is worried for me & I understand that.

But they also support me & know that I will not stop.

I'm >not< saying I'm a badass. At all.

But, I've been literally beaten and left for dead, bleeding on the side of the highway. I've been incarcerated.

I don't fucking care.

Absofurginglutely. For the last month, for obvs reasons, my show's been intense.

I like to do one once in a while that breaks that up.

You can't fight continuously for very long with no breaks.
