I agree entirely. Completely cakeist, despite the comments from good friend David, the eternal optimist. Did any of the authors of this report talk to anyone of significance in the EU about their proposals? This report does not have a political bone in its body.

Labour's Red Lines are stifling both our Economic progress AND their Electoral support, so why bother with them ?
Get rid of them, and
Its not govt policy but the art of the technocratically possible
There are very little packaged proposals on what closer EU relationship could be in UK discourse
Puts something into the domain showing what's possible within "red lines"
Surely a good thing??
Because surely all that 'jumping through hoops' with the EU and by the EU is only worthwhile if those red lines serve a practical purpose ?
And if they don't serve a practical purpose and are purely an
ie. 'now' !
