After a summer transfer saga that ended in failure, it seems #NUFC’s interest in Marc Guehi is not over.
With the 24-year-old 🏴 international centre-back entering the last 18 months of his contract, there’s a chance that @jamieorrell.bsky.social's image & this 🧵 of analysis will not be in vain 🔽

1️⃣ This 🧵 was drafted last summer & uses data from Guehi’s in 23/24 playing in a low block for Hodgson. He hasn't changed as a player, even if Glasner's style alters his output a little #NUFC
◾High-value defensive actions with few fouls
◾Accomplished passing & carries/dribbles
◾Poor aerial ability
#NUFC
One of Guehi’s great assets as a defender is his pace when coupled with his ability to read the game well.
He is capable of nullifying attacks against even the best. #NUFC
In 23/24 Guehi recorded 9.87 ball recoveries per 90, more than any #NUFC defender.
I actually think they'll sell him for about £45M-£50M next summer.
His leadership and professionalism are also a marked reason he was sought out
Just hope it's around the £40m-£45m mark tho as there have to be other reasonable options in that price range
