There's going to be news about a woman illegally detained and being forcely removed from a Coeur d'Alene Idaho Town Hall meeting taking place at the high school by men that would not identify themselves wearing plain clothes because she opposed the republican viewpoints.

KCRCC event in Coeur d’Alene, ID, the public was not allowed to comment. Those with differing perspectives were repeatedly told to “shut up or get the hell out.” And when one woman simply asked if this was a lecture or an actual town hall, she was forcibly removed.

The Boston Tea Party didn't happen after they got a permit.

The sheriff might know.
But ambiguous situations like this must be seconds from shots fired, at least in states where there might be guns on people.
Still, I think this is a reminder that these situation do happen in life, and we (at least, I) should be able to somehow react even within the constraints you mentioned.
From podium:
Denigration of the woman as ”a little girl”
”we have to be aggressive”
”your voice is meaningless”

I mean, even if you don't like the woman's views, you don't sit quiet and watch someone being dragged away from a townhall meeting.
I am heartbroken for the US.
Now all Europe can do is to strengthen ties with other democratic countries, block social media that is used to spread anti-democracy propaganda, and make sure that fascism remains curbed here.
Please, Germany, do the right thing today!
