Not really but if you are thinking of getting a credit cards, finance a car or house, then freezing your credit can hinder those things. If you don't need to finance anything in the immediate future, you can freeze and unfreeze pretty easily.
And if you forget the company trying to pull your credit report (ex: if you apply for a car loan) will get a notice that it’s frozen and they will remind/ask you to unfreeze it. It won’t mean you’re automatically denied or anything if you forget.
