No worries! Calibre is a very typically geeky & complicated kind of app, but if you just want to use it to throw ebooks in any random format on to your Kindle, it's very easy to use.
You open the book file, import it, then select it & hit "upload to device", & let it chug through the conversion.

Oh shit, I forgot to say the most important thing, which is that for all this to work, you need a USB cable to connect your Kindle to your PC. You obviously need one to charge your Kindle anyway, but I forget sometimes that this stuff isn't obvious to everyone.

I distinctly remember trying to use Callibre once before and going "that is a problem for future me" 😂😂 your explanation is much easier than any of the how-to's I dug up online around a year ago 💜

lol. Yeah, Calibre is the most annoyingly geeky & complicated app ever - like don't even ask me how the search doohickey works because it's nuts, & I'm an actual pro with Regexes - but if you're just using it for basic stuff, it works fine & does stuff pretty much how you'd want it to.
