Featuring great recommendations and me. I’m talking about a truly brilliant Agatha Christie, in very good company.

Great choice. I’ve always wanted to read/watch a series involving Lucy Eyelesbarrow solving crimes, incidentally.

Yes, she feels really wasted in a single novel! I wonder if AC intended to go back to her and didn't get a chance to.

Yeah, I wondered if she intended her as a way to keep Miss Marple realistically solving murders.

I would guess so. She goes to such lengths to establish her (and I really enjoy the fact that she's the dream solution to the intractable problem of no decent servants after the war. You can really see what was bothering AC!).

I feel she is a kind of good twin to Mary Dove in A Pocketful of Rye.

It really is a brilliant book. Unfortunately I can never remember the title when I want to talk about it. 4.15? 4.45? Times are my enemy.

Just read your line about murdering the family to Tessa and there was a slightly maniacal edge to her laughter. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

I'm the same with the Stephen King book. 11.22.63? 63.23.11? Nope.
