Nah keep him so we can keep on with whatever fitness plan he’s on. Ease him in with 15-20 coming on for Salah. There’s gonna be plenty of games to play when the quads on 👀
I asked because Inter are interested in loaning him, not everything has to have some agenda behind it, leave that on Twitter and have a normal conversation about football, you don’t have to be patronising.
Not at all! I also don’t believe the rumors. This isn’t the first time a player has taken a long time to his first proper minutes at the club - I’m excited to see him come good and I fully expect that to happen 👌
No, why spend all the last few weeks trying to get him fit just to get rid. We are going to need everyone in the next few months, so many games in December and January need to rotate will greatly required
I don’t necessarily think so because he’s an asset if he can get match fit, the question is can we offer him in the minutes he needs to get back to his best.
I hope I'm wrong. (I usually am). It just feels like we signed him just to sign someone and hoped for the best regarding his injuries.
If he can get fit soon, there's a tough/busy schedule coming up that should get him some minutes.
It would depend on his fitness really.
Is he going to be fit enough for the second half of the season with the minutes he’d get.
Is he more likely to get minutes elsewhere and then be ready for next season.
If this is the case, I’d be ok with it.
Nope, I think he'll be vital for us as the season goes on and he gets to full fitness. I think the Italian media is hoping to stir up some controversy.
I'm a firm no. We got the chance to rebuild the player to the physical shape needed to help us in the 2nd half of the season. The games will be coming thick and fast and we need to be able to rotate the front line. Plus we can't seem to guarantee Jota's availability so need the squad depth.
No, I'd love to see him given a run in the team before before that's considered. On the other hand I completely trust our team behind the team at LFC so if they decided that I'd be confident that was the right choice.
It would make no sense, if his absence is injury related. He will still be injured elsewhere. Let him stay, get familiar with the players, tactics, staff etc and get ready for next season
No I think he has a lot of potential as I firmly believe he will be loved by fans. I've heard his wife is extremely home sick, so maybe part of the plan is getting him settled and family whilst giving him a mini pre season
Not a chance. Need to continue getting his fitness up to speed and then could see him become extremely valuable in the 2nd half of the season. Even in this busy period we’re about to enter
I think he needs to stay with the team to build up his fitness. He was already in Serie A previously.
I hope he'll be in fit form soon enough! I'm happy to see Arne taking his time to build him up. It's a change from what is the norm, and I'm excited by the direction.
Nope I am convinced he will be an important part of our squad this season; he is a fantastic player and it is only the previous injury and lack of a pre-season which has impacted his readiness for us; it will all work out and he will come good 👍
No, I think he stays and fights for a place. No point buying a player, working to get him fit and loaning him out. Especially is said player is mid to late 20s
As a Juve (and Liverpool) fan, I most definitely don't want to see Chiesa at Inter. Chiesa is an incredible talent, unfortunately he still hasn't fully recovered from his serious injury a couple of years ago. If he ever does, Liverpool will end up with another top player. He can play either side.
If he’s not interested in being back up to Salah he shouldn’t have signed. So it really depends what is on his contract. You wouldn’t want him to be loaned out because Salah could get injured but if he’s unhappy then you don’t have much choice
No. I want that happy little scamp around at all times. Stick him in the Mighty Red costume if he's not fit. He's not leaving us. Not after we waited years to get him.
Probably just being influenced by people being idiots on the ‘other place’ and saying he is washed and to get rid! I am really interested to see if we can get him back to his previous levels. He was insanely good a couple of years back.
No no, sorry didn’t mean that. I was just expecting a load of replies to your post to that effect. Not suggesting you were implying anything like that.
I don’t think a loan for the rest of the season would be giving up on him, it would give him game time and the minutes at the right club that we can’t offer if our forwards keep smashing it.
No ... Im convinced back staff are rebuilding him ... He had so many injuries and there's a probability he never properly recovered... We'll have to be patient
No, he’s in a mini pre season atm to get him up to scratch, did same with robbo & fabinho when we first got them, barely got games the first couple of months. We’ll see him soon, not had proper recovery programs after big injuries in previous clubs, we are rectifying that to get the best out of him.
That wouldn’t be helpful, a loan would only be helpful if he was fit and needed to build up match confidence with consistent game time, more than Liverpool can offer.
I think Slot also spoke in detail about this a few weeks ago. He indicated the player needed to build up his fitness but my understanding from his words was that the player needed to show more on the training ground but hey, until he is fully fit, it is hard to judge...
He just needs to be given an opportunity when he gets his fitness up. Which he will. I don't know what sending him on loan will tell the club that they can't find out with him in the squad. There's no value in it.
No. I don’t believe this whole ‘he’s not happy’ story and think he just needs time to get up to speed. We’ll need players if we want to fight for all trophy’s.
January itself could prove make or break for him. Potentially loads of cup games that month he could show his quality in & really kickstart his season & Liverpool career. If hes still no nearer to being ready come end of January however, I wouldn't rule out a loan or even permanent deadline day move

Honestly thought it was a wind-up!
Looking at it (seriously 🤣), other than money saved on wages, I can't see any advantage sending him out on loan
He needs to play & train with this team if he wants to improve and make an impact (if any)
If he can’t what’s the point.
If he can get fit soon, there's a tough/busy schedule coming up that should get him some minutes.
He’ll be a lifesaver mid-December to February, mark my words! 😁
Is he going to be fit enough for the second half of the season with the minutes he’d get.

If this is the case, I’d be ok with it.
I hope he'll be in fit form soon enough! I'm happy to see Arne taking his time to build him up. It's a change from what is the norm, and I'm excited by the direction.
Also, it's important for him to continue bond with his team-mates and not get alienated from the squad.
Fingers crossed his back soon! 🤞
