I usually fly into Auckland, stay two days to get over my jet lag, then move on unless there is an All Blacks game or event I want to see. A 14-hour flight to a big city I have visited a dozen times just isn’t worth it when I could be elsewhere in NZ. Sorry to disrespect your city.
