It's a great pattern! I eyed it for years and finally gave it a go in 2021. Was definitely over my skill level, but it was a great learning experience and helped me get over my fear of short rows.

I feel more confident in short rows after having multiple top- down sweaters under my belt but I am far from an advanced knitter so it’s still a *touch* intimidating to me.

I do feel experienced enough to start it at this point so I may have to bump it up the list 🤭

If you can knit a sweater and know short rows you'll be great! I found it pretty overwhelming at first but I'd never done a short row before.

Nice! At the time I made mine couldn't find any yarn gradients in a color & price point that I was ok with so I got a set of mini skeins that coordinated. But now that I've discovered Hobbii yarn the gradient selection is overwhelming and affordable
