I start college in Jan and it feels like I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to get the accommodations I need and I just got done w a meeting w my schools disability department.. why tf is their tone so mean 😭 the meeting was for assistance with navigating the documents and stuff

Can you tell them you are neurodivergent and need to take a video of the meeting so you can refer to it later? Maybe they'll be nicer if they're on video. :P
And the whole time I felt like I was being treated like an idiot 🥲 I have a stupidly hard time navigating new systems and websites and I just got a MacBook for the first time and the subtle changes rlly aren’t helping me out here.
It's all so difficult, especially when you have to advocate for yourself, it can feel like fighting so hard for basic assistance, but I hope they can set you up with an accommodation plan that will help get you through the coursework!
