I guess it was a foreseeable move and it strengthens the believe here in Europe that’s the transatlantic partnership between Europe and the US has come to an end. We already see heavy Russian activity in the Baltic and the move by speaker Johnson will only embolden Russia

I have to add, though that Europe, for too long have been sleeping under the umbrella of American protection against Russia. The uncertainty, a Trump administration brings to Europe is our own responsibility. We should have built a strong military defense decades ago.
