Honestly, I wouldn't mind doing a job that actually helps people and rewards me properly, since the help is needed enough for it, but the truth is that there aren't really jobs like that. It's either a high-paying bullshit job or a ridiculously underpaid essential job with infinite overtime.
The only reason why everyone I know works is because they have to. They don't want to build things, or enjoy the process, they just want to keep up a certain lifestyle and not starve or be homeless. After being fired in a ridiculously disgusting way at my previous job I did try looking for an other
one, and even got a deal that I refused because it was just insulting. I wouldn't have refused it if I would need it to live, but since my ridiculously low spending I don't need it right now that badly. The health issues and travel expenses a bad job causes make it not worth it for me financially...
