Once I had been on both sides of the interview table and realized that the people doing the interview wanted to be there playing the game even less than I did, interviews became much easier.

I was a supervisor and hired people. I was ok with the hiring interview. It was the performance appraisals for interns and staff that I did not like doing cause "upstairs" had an objective that was not reality-based but I somehow needed to make it work.
