Who is writing about this? I am thinking about Joe Papp and his refusal to take Government money — because it would compromise the art. Boy, are we a long way away from that. American Theatre where is the response? These terrific folks had a response and it is very clear:
Hamilton will be replaced by lowest common denominator patriotic pablum and the subscribers will be replaced by GOP reps, foreign nationals, and lobbyists currying favor with the dictator.
