The reason the Seattle General Strike of 1919 lasted as long as it did, was because of the whole community working together to care for one another. The milk delivery men were the only ones who were waived, so as to make sure children were still being fed.

The reason I’m asking if folks know what a general strike would mean is because most Americans can’t afford a $500 emergency.

An unplanned general strike is going to cost way more than $500.
