Many a game for me, i will very reluctantky 'try' downloading ase when i know i'll have the time.
Side Q, did they optimize update/patching for asa?

So, ASE is huuuuge & has a load of old systems that can be kinda crappy. ASA has a lot of QoL in regards to those systems, the dinos look amazing, and there's lots of fun new stuff too! They're slooowly adding back all the old DLC maps too, which is great cause they look BEAUTIFUL

optimization wise...? They're working on it. It can still slog down your system on some maps with certain settings, but the upgrade to UE5.5 coming up should help a lot with that I think

Much as i'd take a look i'm gonna hold off. Bought into ase and the dlcs, when asa was announced it hit like havin to buy all over again. Alongside ark 2 uncertainty im wary :(

I get that! :) Luckily all the DLCs from ASE that they're updating to ASA are being added for free. Only the NEW expansions that will be added MUCH later down the road will be paid for. And honestly... Ark 2 is looking more like a story driven single player type of thing, so I prob won't get it lol

IF you like Ark though & it's lore.. I can't recommend the animated series enough. It was fucking amazing
