Seriously though dude is up at 3 AM in his timezone every day trashing Dem leaders for their weakness and cowardice, saying their lethargic response to Trump will leave us in a fascist hellhole.

It's possible to not be a borg-drone apparatchik while also not wanting to burn the whole party down.

I don’t disagree with that but when he says something I disagree with, in this example the left being a cult, I’m gonna say something about it because that’s exactly what the consultant class has said for years. Does the left annoy me? Yes. We are all dorks. But they are important in this.

And I will even say that yes I overstepped when I said he’s never been to a red area but that is how his comments come off. He doesn’t seem like he’s been to the places the Dems have abandoned when he talks like that. All we have is a handful of blue dots trying to do work here and it’s frustrating.

I feel like a lot of conversations about groups/factions on the internet are bogged down because everyone has a different idea of who's in what. I think of myself as a leftist but I think the DSA are a negative and unserious influence, for example.

Anyway Stancil does a lot of angryposting because he's angry, but also because that's what generates traffic, and unfortunately it's true that it means he rarely posts anything positive about anyone. I don't know if he's got good experiences with leftists.
