I just need to remind y'all that this is STILL one of the absolute greatest platformers ever made with one of the best soundtracks ever composed and I will not hear otherwise.

Didnt get my hands on a copy of 2 till my late teens.
That said i wont deny that its got some amazing level design and a great soundtrack but DKC3 is better.
In retrospect this is an absolute solid take.
Even if I am still mad I could never find that last bonus coin.
Huge step up from DKL1.

All the DK games are incredible!
