First impression is #1 with the silver/gray shoulder buttons. It’s a very obvious nod to the inspiration with the full color buttons without looking like a controller that MS will eventually make part of their Cipher releases (ghost cipher, sky cipher, Grimace cipher).

First one definitely. The grey gives the control sticks and dpad some contrast from the black grips. This is a peak design btw!

I like the first one better. The black accents and colored top clashes with the rest of the aesthetic on the second, imo. Both are neat, though.

1, I just like the contrast better plus it reminds me more of the n64 controller. 2 flows better with the blacked out stick and grips. I vote for 1 but you really can’t go wrong with either imo

1 feels like something officially made and captures the style of an N64 controller pretty well.

2 reminds me of an old Madcatz PS2 controller I had.

I’ve tried a create one a few times but got crippled by choice. In the end I saved £50 and just bought the plain white one and I love it! (It dropped to £80 the week after, which I didn’t love)

Overall I'm leaning 1. The primary colours on the buttons have that vibe, but w the dark grips you want to keep it tied together? Whatever you choose it's a fantastic idea!
