Sony PlayStation and SEGA Saturn.
32-Bit legends loved by the Retro Gaming community. The PS1 was much more popular, but the Saturn gained a cult following.
Both are great in their own way with an amazing library of games.
Which do YOU prefer, and why?

So I can only say I enjoyed the ps1
Also, PlayStation wins for having a Sonic port that Sega could have done, but didn't. Thanks homebrewers.
On the other hand, I think Sega Saturn should deserve more love though.
PS1 just has too many classics though
Didn't regret it, but would have loved playing more Virtua fighter 😁
Saturn had some great titles, but I'd have to put the PS1 just ahead of it overall.
And it could have given us Shenmue!
That said, Saturn > N64.
But the Saturn has some of the best ads. Mainly the Segata Sanshiro series. Would've absolutely convinced me to buy a Sega Saturn back then.
Plus emulation still kinda struggles with Saturn games
Anyone with recommendations, list them below!
WE WERE SOOOO ROBBED!!!
Great ports of arcade classics, some very fun original IP’s locked to the console to this day and of course the legendary Panzer Dragoon Saga!
Even without that, you're up against one of the best damn console libraries out there, Saturn is no slouch in that regard but... man the games on the PS1 are just unfair.
This was an era when games developers tried new things and it was glorious.
Interestingly Tomb Raider was available on both of these machines.
Saturn
Nights
Panzer Dragoon saga rpg
Sega rally
Burning rangers
Virtua fighter 2
Ps1
Final fantasy vii
Metal gear solid
Ridge racer type 4
Crash bandicoot
Tomb raider 2
Sony's consoles could not handle the vs games on PS1 or PS2. The Saturn and Dreamcast played them all flawlessly.
NiGHTS into Dreams was such a magical experience at a friend’s house though and thus I’m giving it to that
